Education in 2013

This being an election year i decided to pay actually pay attention to what both candidates views are on education. i watched the first debate on wednesday and realized that Romney and Obama have totally different views on what they want to do about the problems in education. Romney states that education is a state issue and the government does not need to help fund education... the idea that education is a state issue is true but i totally disagree on the point that the government should not help fund education. Obama stated that if elected again he wants to help schools get back on track by funding them. i believe that this will help so many schools in the US. some people, like Romney, do not realize how important education is. education is what shapes us as individuals and us as a community. it is important to keep developing education farther if we want to keep up in this time of change and technology.
